Oh the memories! I was looking amongst my scrapbooking cache for supplies to use in my bible journaling when I came across a Noosa newspaper from 2002. I opened the first page and there I was! Wow, I had forgotten all about this story being in the paper. Clearly, I was going to scrapbook the memory but it never happened. How interesting to look back on the story and reminisce about the success of that business and my first book. The newspaper story began, “Scrapbook Creations a runaway success. Scrapbook Creations won the title, open to all businesses on the Sunshine Coast after passing the scrutiny of a judges’ interview and trial by mystery shopper….”
So much has happened in my life since then. This past year in particular has been the toughest year to date. In fact, I am struggling to recover from a tragic event nine months ago, and am just beginning to get active with my blog again. Finding this little memory was a timely reminder that anything is possible, so I decided to save the memory here on my blog. It’s a good thing to look back on your achievements and think about what’s possible. Life has a way of pulling us down, so little reminders go a long way in keeping our focus on the potential for good. Of, course “life will still happen” but living life with a positive focus is sure to bring a brighter future. I’m looking forward to connecting with you all again. I’m hoping to be putting out our first newsletter next month…finally! Here’s to making many more great memories..
